USA - We're Back!

USA orders are re-opening from Friday 10th April, but with some restrictions.

Yes, finally!

We're very pleased to announce that customers in the USA will once again be able to order from our website, starting Friday 10th April at 12 noon UK time (7am ET in the US). 

Enormous thanks to our testers who helped us get to this point. We've made necessary adjustments to our checkout system and sent several packages across the pond via different entry points, happily with a 100% success rate. We are therefore now confident that we should be able to get packages delivered throughout the US once more.

As most of you will know, the main issue was the imposition of tariffs by the Trump administration, leading us to suspend orders. This suspension has lasted longer than we had hoped, but it was important first to give the new system time to bed in, and second to allow us to make the necessary adjustments and minimise potential issues.

The major change you will notice is that the tariff charges are now calculated at checkout, and included in the total cost of the order. This is because although you (as the importer) are the one who pays the tariff, we actually have to pay the full amount up front when purchasing the shipping label for your package. The advantage is that packages are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), which means they should pass swiftly and smoothly through Customs and onward to you.

Bottom line is that your order will now cost 10% more than it did before. Don't blame us, blame Trump!

There is one further change to be aware of, to protect both you and us, which is a temporary restriction on the number of orders we will accept and process at any one time. This is so we can continue to monitor deliveries for a while and make sure everything is working as we expect. We hope we'll be able to lift all restrictions by the end of June.

This means that when we open up orders on Friday 10th, it will be first come, first served. Once we have received a certain number of orders, we will close ordering again temporarily. So if you've been waiting for this, please get your order in asap, or you may have to wait even longer.

Finally, we want to sincerely thank you for your patience and continued support. We look forward to resuming our special relationship with the US (even if our governments don't), and sending our boxes of MedFet goodness to American friends old and new, for many years to come.
